Birkdale is a well established producer of high quality Australian native and exotic trees, shrubs, groundcovers and climbers, supplying to nurseries, garden centres and landscape projects both nationally and internationally.  Plants are supplied in containers ranging from 75mm to 100lt.  Birkdale also has expertise in the preparation and logistics of supplying mature ex-ground trees and palms.

Birkdale, through its associated company, Wollemi Pine International Pty Ltd,  marketed the Wollemi Pine (Wollemia nobilis) which dates back to the time of the dinosaurs and was thought to be extinct until it was identified through fossil records after its discovery in the Wollemi National Park in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney in 1994.  The Wollemi has become an Australian icon and a flagship species for raising the importance of conservation globally.
